Top Web Browsers for Windows

You can’t have a pleasant internet surfing experience if you don’t have the right browser. Are you working on Windows 7/Vista/XP? Which browser should you use? Here are the best web browsers for Windows.

It’s a great browser and gives a smooth internet experience. It has a lot of plugins and add-ons that make it the best one. Plus, if you are into coding and debugging, you just have to use Firefox. It’s an open source browser with a secure framework. It used to be a bit sluggish earlier, but I find no issues with its latest update.
Good: Secure, lots of add-ons, debugging abilities
Bad: Slower than Google Chrome
My ranking: Most excellent

It used to be my favorite browser a few weeks back. But then it started crashing for no apparent reasons. I hope Google fixes it really soon. It just so happens that you’re working on it and suddenly it freezes. So you have to close all the tabs and start all over again. Other than that it’s great. I’m especially a big fan of its speed.
Good: The fastest browser
Bad: Crashes too soon.
My Ranking: Excellent

For mobiles, yeah it’s probably the best. For desktop, not so much. It does offer fast browsing and it’s faster than Firefox in some cases, but the navigation isn’t really smooth. For example, I tried opening an image in a new tab/window, and there were no options to do that! Also, it sometimes gets confusing if you are using other browsers as well. When you point your mouse on a link and right click, Chrome and Firefox say ‘Open link in a new tab’ in their first option. For Opera, it’s option number 3 ‘Open link in background tab’. Gets pretty frustrating at times.
Good: Fast, doesn’t crash much
Bad: Not smooth navigation
My ranking: Good.

There are many people who use IE to just download other browsers, but it is seriously a good way to surf the internet. I know there were many issues in previous versions, but the latest Internet Explorer offers a lot (with still some bugs though).
Good: You don’t need to install it. It’s always there. Also, if it weren’t for internet explorer, you wouldn’t have any other browser. About surfing, it gives easy and fast surfing. Try it.
Bad: Crashes (not so often, but when it does… seriously, crashes like anything). You are working on it, and it suddenly stops. But that’s not enough- hundreds of windows start opening and you have to hard boot your system.
My ranking: Ok
